The use of reforested land and government approved suppliers is not a new concept to them, and even though most people don't know it, they've been manufacturing "Green" products for quite some time now.

The EverEarth(TM) line of toys has taken this process one step further, and was created keeping not only the safety of the earth in mind but also the safety of all children. The EverEarth(TM) line is kid safe, eco-friendly and manufactured with wood taken from renewable forests, as well as recycled rubber wood. All EverEarth packaging is printed on recycled corrugate using soy ink.

They've also taken care to only use water color based paints that contain less chemicals than the traditional acrylic paints used by most manufacturers. Every "little" step Maxim can take is a "big" step in the right direction. By constantly trying to improve upon their manufacturing process, they have also been accredited as an ICTI certified factory that adheres to all international manufacturing standards.

Maxim's hope is that others will also take the "eco" high ground and follow their lead for a better tomorrow. They have also launched a Personal Sustainability Project (PSP) in which they challenge their employees to integrate small changes in their personal lives to help benefit themselves and the environment.
