Bamboobies bamboo fabrics are made with both bamboo fibers and pulp and are Certified Organic. Their bamboo fabric is certified free of harmful substances by Oeko-tex Standard 100. In addition, all fabrics meet International Restricted Substance Limits standards. Bamboobies have been working closely with their suppliers to produce fabrics in an ecologically responsible manner with minimal environmental impact. At the factories where the fabric is made, the extraction and renewal treatments for wastewater and exhaust emissions are carefully controlled and worker-safety is held to a high standard.
Organic Cotton and Bamboo are blended to create the soft velour of the regular bamboobies and the fleece on the outside of the overnights.
Hemp
Hemp is considered 'naturally organic' because it does not exhaust the soil, uses little water, and requires no pesticides or herbicides. With high moisture absorbency, four times that of cotton, and high heat conductivity, it is well suited to line breast pads. Hemp is famous for 'wearing in, not out!' as it softens with each wash. Hemp and organic cotton blends are found in the inner core of all of Bamboobies products because of hemp's amazing absorbing properties.
