A few of the married couples (along with our bachelors and bachelorettes) at GreenCupboards HQ have been jaw-droppingly gawking over Natalie Portman’s recycled, vintage, à la mode engagement ring.

Admittedly, Natalie herself has been the focus of some GreenCupboards office goggling (just read the employee First Date Questionnaires), however her ring strikes a trending note with the GC crew since it consists of recycled platinum, a reused center piece diamond and conflict free diamonds riveting its edges, according to Styelist.com. Although more pricy than other handmade celebrity wear such as Kyler Modern Jewelry, at $35,000 we’ve struck up a few questions about the wonder ring, seeing as half of the office went gaga over Portman during her intergalactic stint as a definite looker in“Star Wars: Phantom Menace”.
Immediate reactions to the ring:
