Home Town: Yelm, WA
Job Title: VP, Supplier Relations
Job description in your own words: I continually add value to the GreenCupboards brand through increasing systems effectiveness and improving supplier relationship management.
Reasons for working at GreenCupboards: A fabulous working environment, a cause I believe in, and co-foundership.
#1 GreenCupboards shopping spree item (and why): X-Treme Scooter – XM-3150 – 3100 Watt Electric Motorcycle Moped. Who doesn’t want a moped? Plus this one will reach speeds up to 45 MPH and driving distances can be up to 55 miles on a single charge which is wayyy more than enough for me to commute each day. Also, the battery life can last up to 5 years or be recharged up to 500 times
Your ideal workday involves: LOTS of Espresso, a good meme or two, lightning fast internet, and happy workmates.
If I could grow up in any era of history it would be: The ‘60s! The fashion and the social movements make this my favorite decade.
One time I: went cage diving with great white sharks outside of Cape Town in South Africa and a crocodile ate my safari hat! That’s a real story.
When I pass my boss in the hallway I think: I hope he makes me dinner…
Mac or PC: Both! iPad & iPhone obsessed, yet I can’t work on anything but a PC.
My happy place is: Anywhere it’s sunny
What environmental issue concerns you most and how would you like to see that resolved: For me it comes down to simple, everyday issues like eating. Our food needs to be more sustainable. Eat local and eat organic. If you’re eating an apple from Japan, but you live in Washington ask yourself why you didn’t buy an apple from your local farmer instead? It’s fresher and supports your local economy! Organic, GMO-free, biodynamic, and local are all good things to look for.

It’s been wonderful getting to know you over the past 26 years, except the part about the Great Whites and crocodile! I hope your boss makes you a seven course meal complete with roses and candlelight. If he doesn’t do it for you, you might want to take the initative and start first. Who knows what could happen next!
I love you!
xoxo Mom
