The Brelli is a safer umbrella - because the canopy is completely transparent, you have total visibility all around you, unlike a traditional umbrella which gives you massive blind spots. Engineered with a unique wind-vent system, you won't have to play a game of tug-of-war with your umbrella when the wind picks up. Plus the spokes and handle are made of bamboo, making them more flexible (and therefore more durable) than the metal parts on a normal umbrella.

BRELLI designed and built the BRELLI so that even in landfill environments, a discarded BRELLI will completely biodegrade in less than five years.....this is only a tiny fraction of the time it takes for a conventional umbrella to biodegrade (estimates range from 40 -80 years for the canopy). BRELLI doesn't have any formal data on how long it takes conventional umbrellas with a metal fram to completely biodegrade because they take so many years. BRELLI has worked diligently to create and use materials that, during their biodegration process, release only harmless gases. the gas released by each discarded BRELLI in a conditional landfill can be harvested to generate enough electricity to recoup more than 90% of the energy that was used to create it.

FANTASTIC !!!

I purchased this clear umbrella in the sling carrying case while visiting Jacksonville,Oregon. I spend most of my time in Washington and Oregon..lots of rain. There's nothing drearier that a mass of black umbrellas hiding everyone. THIS umbrella lets the light in AND you can see through it.ALSO no metal-no rust. I bought an expensive umbrella in Paris..used it once. The next time I opened it, the metal spokes has rusted ! No metal on the Brelli. I'm an RN, and have had patients come into ER after having LIGHTENING hit their metal umbrella tops and go down through the metal shaft and through the patient ! Serious burns through the hand and across the body..exiting another area. So besides being Eco-friendly, it is the SAFEST.
