Educo - Happy Trails Sand Maze

HaPe Toy Company uses Eco-friendly processes and safe Eco-friendly materials such that every product purchased from HaPe makes use of recycled materials and packaging in addition to using sustainable woods like Bamboo and Birch Plywood. They have partnered with FSC, an independent and non-profit company, to promote the responsible management of the world's forests and better source their raw materials of production. They monitor all processes in the workshop to insure quality. HaPe polishes all of their wooden toys with cherry stones so they become super soft and then they hand finish everything. In addition to FSC certification they even bought a bamboo forest this year close to their workshop to reduce their carbon footprint.

Practices in Production

All the air and paint purifying system in their workshop filters all the water used so it can be re-used again and again. They are efficient and very cautious in energy consumption. They don't like nasty chemicals so they ensure child safety by not using them. The inks on all toys are water based, which is part of their commitment to reduce the use of any plastic in any of their products.

Designing the Future

Currently, HaPe is working to enhance and expand their Eco-line toys, they represent the best practices in the industry for environmental responsibility and protection. These toys currently use bamboo and eco-friendly practices and may very well represent the future of toy production at HaPe.
