Sarah Wollnick co-founded GreenCupboards and serves as the VP of Supplier Relations. She has a BBA and MBA from Gonzaga University.
Sarah's passion for the eco-friendly lifestyle emerged in 2008 when the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics was making its initial splash in the media. Upon reading the book "Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry" written by Campaign for Safe Cosmetics co-founder Stacy Malkan, Sarah found herself feeling shocked and appalled at the state of the personal care industry. Over the course of a couple weeks she changed up her daily routine and standard products by substituting them with natural alternatives found at her local Huckleberry's. Though she didn't know it at that time she was at a crossroads as the idea for GreenCupboards was about to be presented in a matter of days.
Sarah continues to spend time researching products and watches carefully for green washing. She sits on the Green Compliance Team for GreenCupboards and supports the Women Helping Women forum. In her free time she enjoys organic gardening, travel, running, trend watching, yoga, and being a real food revivalist.
