Holy Lamb Organics is a small manufacturing business dedicated to creating exceptional organic bedding products. Holy Lamb uses sustainable practices and smart manufacturing in every step of production. They use only certified organic cotton fabric to make the finest handmade bedding. All of Holy Lamb's organic fabrics are minimally processed and mechanically pre-shrunk. Their non-toxic fabric finish involves only vegetable starch coming from either corn or soybean, as compared to the harsh chemicals used in finishing convential fabric.
Holy Lamb practices 100% Zero Waste of Manufacturing By-Products by reusing, recycling or composting all materials used in production, to create a truly smart manufacturing environment. None of the raw materials ever enter a landfill. As great as it is to have a made in the U.S.A. product, it does not make us feel better when it pollutes our country, and with Holy Lamb Organics we do not have to worry. For example, the smallest scraps of thread, wool and fabric are all composted using a vermiculture system (e.g. worms) or used as the bottom mulch layer for paths in the company's community garden.
Finally, all of Holy Lamb Organics' wool is grown by small U.S. sheep farmers who are part of the Premium Eco-Wool Program that focuses on using materials made in the U.S.A. All of the wool is locally sourced, and all of the farmers who sign onto the Premium Eco-Wool Program are educated in sustainable practices that are good for people, the land and the animals. You can be assured that Holy Lamb Organics is a non-toxic and danger free product for your home.
