Instructions for Recycling Hygeia Breast pumpsWhen you no longer need to use your Hygeia EnJoye breast pump, do not discard it in the trash. Instead you can send it to Hygeia for recycling. Hygeia will recycle the pump or its part in a sound ecological manner. Please see their detailed recycling instructions below.

Return Instructions:
- Only Hygeia brand electric breast pumps can be recycled.
- Clean pump and spray with Cavicide or similar cleaner.
- Return the pump, power supply and personal accessory set materials.
- Place in plastic bag and seal with tape.
- Place in box with padding and attach the shipping label with the Hygeia mailing address.

Hygeia breast pumps are guaranteed to be fully compatible with a mother's nursing needs. They believe that if a Hygeia breast pump is not compatible with her needs, a mother should have options. In this spirit, Hygeia offers a Total Compatibility Guarantee.
Should the original purchased pump be incompatible with mom's requirements, please contact greencupboards.com directly. An alternate Hygeia breast pump will be offered for replacement (up-charging only for any price difference, if applicable). Should an alternate Hygeia breast pump not be a satisfactory solution, the breast pump only (excludes all accessories, i.e. Personal Accessory Sets, bags/totes, etc.) may be returned for a refund/credit within 21 days of purchase, with appropriate proof(s) of purchase from greencupboards.com.
Products that show damage or obvious signs of abuse may not qualify for a refund under the Total Compatibility Guarantee.
Returning Defective Product to Hygeia (under warranty): Hygeia Customer Care will provide the customer with a Return of Goods Authorization (RGA) number for the return of the defective product. Defective product that is returned will either be repaired or replaced with like product at no charge (based on Hygeia's final inspection results). If returned pump is deemed defective due to improper use of the pump (i.e. using pump without filter and getting milk in the motor, pump was dropped or bumped), there will be a repair cost of $100 plus all shipping charges. Prior authorization of any major credit card is required.
Shipping Repaired/Replaced Product to You: Standard UPS Ground shipping costs for the return of defective product for repair will be the responsibility of Hygeia. Overnight delivery is available with the up-charge paid by the customer. Hygeia must receive the defective product within 14 days of issued RGA. It is the customer's responsibility to package product being sent in for service appropriately so no damage will occur during transit. If inadequate packaging is used and the product arrives damaged the warranty will be null and void and the repair will be charged accordingly.
Warranty Limitations: This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from any customer actions, such as mishandling or product abuse, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, misapplication, improper repair, or unauthorized modification. No other warranties are expressed or implied. Hygeia specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose. Hygeia's liability shall be limited to the actual purchase price of any defective unit or units of equipment to which a claim is made, and shall in no event include the customer's lost profits or goodwill, or any other direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages whether based on contract, tort or other legal theory. Warranty valid for original purchaser only.
