These Lattice Trivets disperse heat from serving dishes to prevent heat damage, burning and distortion on your counter or dining table. The lattice design allows air space for heat to escape unlike flat surfaces which either absorb heat and reflect it. They are also a better alternative to cork, fabric and metal trivets which can break apart, burn and become very hot themselves.
